Groups of Chimeron

The Royal House

The Royal House are sworn members of Chimeron who have taken on the responsibilities of running the court and the country. These members handle duties outside of the scope of the lords of subnations, though members are also allowed to be lords of subnations.

The Royal House also Fosters potential new members, training them on the workings and duties of the position.

The Avatars of Chimeron

These are the Knights of Chimeron. Their Knightly ability is to be able to absorb the wounds from another and take it on to themselves instead. A self sacrificial power, if the Avatar takes on the soul loss of someone it is commonly believed that since it was a willing sacrifice, that the soul of the Avatar would never be retrievable.

According to tradition, An Avatar will:
• Do their utmost to protect the continuing existence of humanity
• Never compromise their sense of duty
• Uphold all oaths and promises unto destruction

The King's Twelve

The King's Twelve are the elite questers of Chimeron. This group was first created in 1012 to recognize the twelve people who quested into the vault of Jonas Cooke to retrieve King Alexander's crown which had been stolen. Since then, when there comes a time that a member of the twelve sees a person in Chimeron questing in such a way that it causes them to think to themself "It is unfair that I am recognized in this group and they are not", it is their duty to pass along their position among the twelve so that the group continues to have the best questers of Chimeron within its ranks.
