Welcome to Chimeron’s library! Please, take a moment of refuge among our shelves of books and scrolls, away from the hustle and bustle of Chimeron Proper. Here you will find documents both new and old. In our most recent reorganizing processes, we have found stories, songs, poems, lore, and other information from past ages of Chimeron. Where we can, we have listed the author and the date of the publication, though many of these bits of information appear lost for the moment. We have provided what context we can, and you may find some of our notes on slips of paper between the book pages. Try to put everything back where you find it, and ask before taking any of the books out of the library!
Over this way, you will find our poems and songs. These have been created by Chimeronians, for Chimeronians, or are sometimes just favorites of our people, imported from near and far. We will warn you, some of these were originally transcribed during late nights at the Bar and Wench, so keep an eye on what your little ones get their hands and eyes on. Over there are the stories. It was difficult to separate these from the lore and historical documentation, though we will say the stories likely have more… how should we put this? Creative liberties taken. Most of the lore and history is a little more straightforward.
Feel free to come back to the lounge between sections, especially if you lose your way.
